Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs

Developed by psychologist Abraham Maslow, the Hierarchy of Needs states we are motivated to engage in behaviors that have the highest probability of fulfilling unmet needs. Incorporating five levels of needs, Maslow’s theory of motivation is one of the most influential theories and was the catalyst for the creation of many of the motivational theories that we see today.
